Terms of service

The agreement between you and ITRefurb when you browse this website, message us on WhatsApp, or buy refurbished hardware from us.Last updated

1. Acceptance

By accessing ITRefurb or messaging us on WhatsApp you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or contact us to purchase.

2. What we sell

We sell individually-tested, refurbished business-grade IT hardware — laptops, desktops, servers, monitors, networking and accessories. Every listing is graded (A/B/C) and described honestly. The product page is the authoritative specification; if anything in our marketing copy contradicts the product page, the product page wins.

3. How orders work

  1. You browse the catalogue and message us on WhatsApp about a product.
  2. We confirm current availability and share payment details (UPI / bank transfer).
  3. You pay; we share the cosmetic grade certificate and arrange shipping.
  4. You receive the unit, and the cosmetic grade matches the listing.

We do not run an automated checkout. There are no carts, no automated shipping fees, no auto-renewing subscriptions. Every sale is a WhatsApp conversation.

4. Pricing

Prices on the catalogue are in Indian Rupees (₹). The price on the product page is the price we honour. Compare-at prices are the manufacturer's MRRP / typical retail for the same model in new condition — they exist to show the saving, not as a binding offer.

5. No warranty (sold as-is)

Every unit is sold as-is with no warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The cosmetic grade on each product page describes the unit at the time of listing; it is not a warranty. See the full Sold as-is policy.

6. Returns & cancellations

We don't run an automated checkout, so there is no "automatic" return or cancellation flow. Every return, refund or cancellation is a WhatsApp conversation we handle together. See the Sold as-is policy for what's covered; for everything else, message us on WhatsApp.

7. Shipping

We don't auto-fulfil orders. Once you've confirmed the unit and we've received payment, we book a courier and share the tracking link on WhatsApp. Shipping cost and estimated timeline are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.

8. Account & newsletter

We don't require an account to browse. The newsletter and the back-in-stock notification are opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the catalogue.
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without written permission.
  • Use the site to harass, abuse or impersonate ITRefurb or its staff.
  • Place an order with the intent to defraud (chargebacks on legitimately-delivered goods).

We may block abusive traffic at the edge and report incidents to the appropriate authorities.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, product photos we shot, logos, code) is owned by ITRefurb or our licensors. Brand names and logos (Dell, HP, Cisco, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and appear on this site for identification only.

11. Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) about merchantability, fitness for purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is capped at the amount you paid for the unit in question.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ITRefurb against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at our registered office location (see Contact).

14. Grievance officer

As required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer is the point of contact for any complaint about a product, order, or your experience on this site.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change.

16. Payments, currency & sales channel

For full transparency on how money actually moves between you and us, this section consolidates the rules the rest of the document already implies:

  • Sales channel — WhatsApp only. Every sale is a WhatsApp conversation. There is no online checkout, no cart and no automated payment link. We will never ask you to enter card details on this website or on a third-party checkout page.
  • Currency — Indian Rupee (₹). All prices on the catalogue and the product page are in Indian Rupees. Compare-at prices are reference MRRPs in the same currency and exist only to show the saving — they are not a binding offer.
  • Payment methods — UPI and bank transfer. We accept payments by UPI (any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Paytm, etc.) and by direct bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS). Payment details (UPI ID or account number + IFSC) are shared on WhatsApp after you confirm the unit you want.
  • No cards, no wallets, no BNPL. We do not accept card payments, net-banking wallets (Paytm Wallet, Amazon Pay balance), or buy-now-pay-later schemes. If a payment request for those instruments arrives from a third party impersonating us, please treat it as fraud and report it to us on WhatsApp.
  • Refunds — case-by-case on WhatsApp. We do not have an automated refund pipeline. Every refund (full or partial) is processed on WhatsApp once we've agreed a reason and an amount. See §6 above and the Sold as-is policy.
